For many years now, PSI has been a competent partner when it comes to questions regarding deregulation of the energy markets for power and gas.

The scope of products and services offered by PSI ranges from consulting and project work to standard products for network utilization management, energy trading, distribution, allocation and invoicing in the deregulated energy market.

The consulting services include business process analyses, implementation of the network access model, drafting of functional specifications, custom software, tariff structuring, contract performance or support in evaluating software and choosing systems.

PSImarket

PSImarket provides participants in the deregulated energy market with a modular, open and expandable solution for energy trading, energy distribution and portfolio management.

In terms of functions, the system encompasses the entire sales process from business planning to controlling. For energy trading, it maps the entire workflow from front office to back office.

Intelligent energy networks of the future (Smart Grids)

PSI is currently working on essential components for an information and control system for producers, providers and customers within the intelligent energy networks of the future (Smart Grids) as part of a consortium of research institutions and industrial companies in the e-Energy research project “Smart Watts”.

The aim of this project is to provide overarching control and optimisation of energy portfolios. In addition to standard portfolio management functions, the new system will include innovative technologies that can be used to directly control production and customers’ consumption behaviour.
