PSIPENTA Presents Mobile ERP Scenarios on Tablet PCs at CeBIT
SPRINT introductory method uses Microsoft Sharepoint as web-portal
Berlin, 2 February 2011 – The manufacturing specialist PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH will be presenting new mobile processes for production and maintenance from 1 to 5 March at the CeBIT 2011 in Hanover (Hall 5, Stand E16).
Fittingly for the subject of “mobile applications”, PSIPENTA will be showing innovative solutions for integrated mobile processes for manufacturing. An integrated ERP /MES scenario will be presented, expanded by applications for Internet-capable smartphones and tablet PCs. Classical feedback procedures for operational data recording or maintenance can be performed with portable and robust motion PCs. PSIPENTA offers managers and plant supervisors business intelligence evaluations in real time on an iPad.
PSIPENTA is also breaking ground in the introduction methods for their software. In the future, consultants will be using Microsoft’s Sharepoint web-application as the basis of the standardised SPRINT method. The newly developed web-portal supports all the participants in the cooperation, in approval processes in the project as well as in the compilation and provision of documents during the implementation. The application will continue to serve the users as a knowledge management source after the start-up of the PSIpenta ERP Suite.
