That is why we conducted a representative survey of 300 logistics specialists and managers in our focus markets of Germany and Poland in July 2025. The survey results show that the industry is divided when it comes to AI implementation. While some companies are already successfully using AI solutions in their warehouses, many are still in the early stages. Despite numerous obstacles, however, the majority of companies are willing to invest.

Warehouse optimization is the central field of application for AI
- Across industries and countries, 44 percent consider warehouse optimization the most important area in which AI can contribute to efficiency gains.

About the sample and methodology:
A quantitative survey was conducted with 300 logistics specialists and managers in Germany and Poland, two of the most important logistics markets in Europe. One hundred and fifty decision-makers were surveyed in each country. The respondents came from a variety of industries, including logistics service providers, automotive, building materials, retail and wholesale, metal, and mechanical engineering. The survey included micro-enterprises with one to ten employees, as well as larger, medium-sized companies and corporations with workforces of over 500 employees.
