Berlin, 10 February 2016 – PSI CNI GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH (formerly PSIPENTA), has been contracted by the MEC-Energietechnik GmbH, an international market leader in the production of battery chargers, with the implementation of an integrated ERP-MES solution for its plants in Austria, China and Hong Kong.
The solution will provide planning of production and logistics and assure greater transparency and continuity of the processes across plants and countries. This will be accomplished by means of multi-site controlling with PSIpenta-Multisite connecting the Austrian plant in Villach as well as the plants in Hong Kong and in Guang Dong, China with one another.
Along with the PSIpenta ERP suite, the operational data recording and the mobile solution will be applied. In a subsequent phase, it is intended to introduce the PSIpenta control room for production detail planning.
The MEC-Energietechnik GmbH is an Austrian subsidiary and sales arm of the Mainland Energy Conversion Ltd (MEC), located in Hong Kong, with its own plant in Guang Dong, China. MEC has been producing its own battery chargers, electrical generators, converters and OEM devices for world-renowned companies for more than 20 years. MEC employs more than 140 persons.
On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (gas, oil, electricity, heat, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety.
