Berlin, 19 January 2017 – The Malaysian PSI subsidiary PSI Incontrol Sdn Bhd obtained a very strong increase in orders of almost 7.5 million euros in December and therefore achieved all but 13% of the original annual planning. That is the highest volume of new orders for PSI Incontrol in a month since April 2011. Following the unscheduled structural adjustment from 240 to 210 employees last summer and a significantly stronger focus on the core business, the foundation for an improved 2017 has been established. The orders include several large orders from existing regional customers in the energy segment.
The high level of new orders obtained in the economically challenging market environment represents a positive signal for the continued development of the PSI business in Southeast Asia in 2017. Amongst others, PSI Incontrol’s customers include the national energy supply companies in Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei. In general, the PSI Group is noticing increased demand as a result of the rising raw material prices and advantageous exchange rates.
On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (energy networks, energy trading), production man-agement (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastruc-ture management for transport and safety.
