Software platform PSIasm optimizes production planning, monitoring and control

Berlin, 10 August 2021 - PSI Polska Sp. z o.o. has been awarded by the Polish pharmaceutical manufacturer Phytopharm Klęka S.A. to implement the PSIasm software platform. In addition to planning, monitoring and controlling of the production processes, the software optimizes order processing and resource deployment and helps to significantly increase efficiency.

PSIasm enables the optimal production planning through predictive resource management. This improves the order sequence and improves the processing of customer orders. The project also includes the integration of PSIasm into an existing ERP system.

In order to meet the specific and rapidly changing requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, Phytopharm Klęka opted for PSIasm including the modules Advanced Production Scheduling (APS) and Manufacturing Execution (MES) for production monitoring. Following the successful implementation of the system at the Martin Bauer plant, the platform is now being rolled out at a further production site.

"After analyzing the benefits of using PSIasm at the Martin Bauer plant, we decided to roll out the system to a further company in the Group. The technological innovative software solution allows us to react quickly to changing customer requirements, quantity changes and material availability, while meeting tight production deadlines," underlines Aneta Gawrońska, Managing Director Finance at Phytopharm Klęka.

Phytopharm Klęka is a pharmaceutical manufacturer of the globally active group “The Nature Network”. The company produces active substances and plant extracts for the production of drugs and dietary supplements as well as finished products mainly based on natural ingredients.

The PSI Group develops its own software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy grids, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 2,000 people worldwide.
