Depot and charging management system PSIebus on-premise or in the cloud

Berlin, February 26, 2021 – PSI Transcom GmbH will present the PSIebus depot and charging management system at the digital VDV electric bus conference and exhibition from 16 to 17 March 2021. The system digitizes the entire workflow in the depot, from vehicle location, parking, supply and workshop, driver registration to vehicle allocation.

PSI's integrated Qualicision optimization module ensures automatic dispatching within seconds. It considers all operational constraints, such as vehicle and route characteristics, daily weather data, the remaining range, the state of charge and the required charging time.

The integrated load and charging management system PSIsmartcharging controls the entire energy flow in the depot and monitors and controls the individual chargers. Thus, expensive peak loads are avoided and specifications of the network operators are taken into account. Data exchange between PSIsmartcharging and the charging stations is based on the open and certified VDV463 interface. This enables time and cost-saving integration.

Due to its flexibility and modularity, the system is suitable for transport companies of all sizes and vehicle fleets and can be integrated both, as an on-premise solution or in the cloud. And, it controls different drive types in parallel operation. The all-in-one system enables optimal use of vehicles and charging infrastructure and ensures the best possible vehicle availability.

As part of the conference program, PSI will hold a streamed presentation on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 and will be available for questions and answers in the Speakers Corner afterwards.

Based on its own software products, PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 2,000 people worldwide.
