  • Moveo Profahr for optimal roster planning and personnel dispatching

Berlin, 7 February 2020 – PSI Transcom GmbH will be presenting the AI-based depot and charging management system PSIebus from 3 to 5 March 2020 at the IT-Trans in Karlsruhe (Hall 1, Stand 1C25). PSIebus guarantees the cost-effective and efficient conversion to alternatively driven bus fleets. In addition, the Moveo Profahr system for planning, dispatching and accounting of driving personnel will be presented.

PSIebus ensures the optimal use of vehicles from parallel operation to complete e-bus operation. When planning the deployment of vehicles, the system automatically takes into account the current charging status and the predicted remaining range of the e-buses. The PSI optimization software Qualicision determines the next required work steps, such as cleaning, refueling, charging and workshop, assigns the nearest parking space in the depot within seconds and assigns the vehicles to the next block in real time.

An integrated load and charging management takes into account the electronical part and monitors and controls the power supply. It forecasts, controls and regulates energy consumption, develops strategies for the existing charging infrastructure and monitors compliance with the charging performance.

The subsidiary Moveo Software GmbH is presenting the Moveo Profahr program system with the core application OPD and components for planning, dispatching and accounting of the driving personnel. All relevant conditions and processes are taken into account for efficient rostering and optimal personnel scheduling.

With the modules vacation management and desired duty scheduling, the driving staff’s vacation and duty requests are optimized and automatically planned.

The Profahr Workbook is a mobile application that provides access to all the necessary data and documents and at the same time integrates the employees into the operational planning and communication processes.

On the basis of its own software products, the PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and material at suppliers (energy networks, energy trading, public passenger transport) and industry (raw material extraction, metal production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 2,000 persons worldwide.
