PSI Presents Mobility Solutions for the Future at the UITP in Milan

  • Holistic PSItraffic system controls integrated operational processes
  • PSIcontrol energy control system monitors and controls railway electricity networks and railway tunnels

Berlin, 8 May 2015 – PSI Transcom GmbH will be presenting its PSItraffic control technology for the efficient control of operational processes in transportation companies at the UITP world congress in Milan from 8 to 10 June 2015 (Stand C138 in Hall 4). The focus will be on the presentation of an integrated control system (ITCS) and depot management system (DMS) that controls processes in day-to-day operations and at vehicle depots.

Continuous and standardised processes require integrated IT systems in which the data is recorded only once, information is compiled centrally and is available throughout the entire company. The dispatchers in the control center, who are responsible for the operations, the vehicles or the personnel scheduling, therefore have an overview of all the company processes and can work more efficiently. Transparent operational processes display the potential for optimisation within the organisation and therefore form the basis for profitable operations. With the integrated PSItraffic solution, PSI pursues an innovative approach for supporting transportation companies in achieving their mobility concepts.

Kay Tewes from PSI Transcom will talk on 10 June 2015 in the Focus Session 12 in hall 3 about the challenges of introducing a depot management system as well as the opportunities and advantages for transportation companies that can result introducing such a system.

The PSI business unit Electrical Energy will present the PSIcontrol energy control system that monitors and controls railway electricity networks and railway tunnels and optimises the process chain from the generation to the vehicle in the network.

On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (gas, oil, electricity, heat, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,700 persons worldwide.
