Berlin, 14 February 2017 – The PSI Logistics GmbH will be presenting products and modules from the PSI Logistics Suite 2017 with numerous innovative functions, new apps and cloud offers at the LogiMAT from 14 to 16 March 2017 in Stuttgart (Hall 7, Stand 7D76). The focus will primarily be on the presentation of the new release 4.0 of the PSIwms warehouse management system. In addition, the Qualicision® decision-making and optimisation software as well as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) und Planning Execution Control (PAC) solutions from the PSI Group will be demonstrated.
Numerous new functions in PSIwms 4.0 include for example a graphical user interface (GUI) that can be configured completely flexibly with PSI Click Design. The new optimisation module Adaptive Job Start, in which the sequencing is based on the Qualicision® extended fuzzy logic decision-making and optimisation software, monitors the key performance indicators and the operation in real-time.
Innovations in the standard interface allow locating and confirmations by means of determining the position of the vehicles and goods in the warehouse as well in production and in the yard. The RESTful web service interface allows for the technical linking and inclusion of all business objects and functions, even for the customer.
Furthermore, an extended functional scope will be demonstrated for the yard logistics and management with slot management for the docking and lorry administration at the site as well as a standardised interface for the connectivity and steering of driverless transportation systems.
In addition, the newly offered cloud solution for PSIwms 4.0 makes it possible to reduce initial costs and lead times till commencement of operations to just a few days.
The PSIglobal standard software for the analysis, planning, designing and optimisation of the supply chain also offers extensive innovations with release 2.5. These are, amongst others, additional analytic methods for the determination and processing of relevant KPIs as well as for a combined view and concerted optimisation of production and logistics. With the automated tender management, it is possible to compile the offer precisely to the request for tender, the costs and the available resources as well as the layout of the supply chain.
Parallel, PSI Automotive & Industry is presenting the combined ERP system PSIpenta with the supplementary modules warehouse management, shipping and just-in-sequence, which the Planning Execution Control (PAC) solution visualises. PAC allows the integrated planning and steering of the production and other areas of the company for larger companies and international groups.
Furthermore, the “Smart Parcel” project with its own app will be presented. PSI Logistics is cooperating in this project with the Center Connected Industry as a member of the Smart Logistics Cluster at the RWTH Aachen Campus. In the associated “Demonstration Factory” applications for the Internet of Things (IoT) are being developed under real-time conditions. To accomplish this, modules of the PSItms transport management system and PSIwms warehouse management system communicate with IoT beacons.
On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (energy networks, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,600 persons worldwide.
