The spoil percentage can be reduced using geo-assisted mining control combined with collation of boundary line information as well as current process statuses of the extractor and shield tunnelling. The operator's task is facilitated by pre-processing relevant data and by the streamlined design of the interface, ensuring the operator always has a clear overview of the whole operation.
