Berlin, 18 October 2016 – The PSI Electrical Energy Division will be presenting its latest network control solutions and new product releases at the European Utility Week 2016 (Hall 3, Stand 3G149) in Barcelona from 15 to 17 November 2016. The focus will be on the safety requirements on network management within the framework of a successful implementation of the energy transition.
Presentations will include the latest product releases of the PSIcontrol network management system and the PSIcommand field force management system as well as examples from current projects for distribution system operators. Amongst others, comprehensive functions of PSIcontrol for infeed and network management, network security and stability and predictive network calculations are shown. In addition, solutions on the topics of reactive power management, Cyber Security, load management, distributed generation and network calculations in medium and low voltage networks are presented.
The new system component "Security Assessment and System Optimization" (SASO) allows the network operator a concentrated network state assessment and offers suggestions for the elimination of current or expected congestions.
PSIcommand supports the central and field personnel in the processes maintenance, construction and fault clearance and is suitable for the use in all infrastructures.
