PSI Presents New Control Technology Solutions at the CIRED 2015

New user interface and application functions in PSIcontrol Base 4.3

Berlin, 8 June 2015 – The PSI Electrical Energy business is presenting from 16 to 18 June 2015 at the CIRED (Booth F3) in Lyon, France the current developments of the control system release PSIcontrol Base 4.3. These developments affect both the user interface as well as the application functions.

The man-machine interface and the image concept have been completely revised. Compared to the previous version, they contain additional intuitive displays in varying levels of detail. New functions of the feed management regulator have been integrated into the new basic version of PSIcontrol which is used on various grid levels, amongst others with the selection of the system to be controlled via sensitivity analysis. Functions of the switching application management as well as the grid calculation functions and the hierarchical grid management, i.e. the collaboration of centralised and decentralised automation components are presented. The PSI Smart Telecontrol Unit (STU) is used for the decentralised automation.

Furthermore, PSI will demonstrate control solutions being successfully employed at customers, for example, functions of the Thai energy supplier Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and Netze BW.

On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (gas, oil, electricity, heat, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,700 persons worldwide.
