PSI set to launch new version of the ERP system PSIpenta at CeBIT 2017

Generation change will secure continuity towards product driven business model

Berlin, 1 March 2017 – From 20 to 24 March 2017, PSI subsidiary PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH will be presenting the new version 9.1 of the ERP industry standard PSIpenta at CeBIT in Hanover (Hall 5, Stand C38), including numerous new features and enhancements.

The new version 9.1 offers a completely revised user interface and simplified information retrieval for significantly improved user friendliness. Technical innovations include Java-based scripting for individual product extensions and further automation of processes through deep integration with products of the PSI Group. Customers of PSI are enabled to adjust independently and agilely specific extensions without changing the system core. The functional extensions include, among others, service processing and quality management.

The new release 9.1 is a further step in the implementation of the PSI-wide convergence strategy of the products and system architectures. Thus, configurable, complete solutions for the production management in different industries will be available to customers in the near future. The entire process chain, from logistics, material management and production to process analysis and optimisation will be covered.

Together with the e.GO Mobile AG, PSI will be demonstrating at this year’s CeBIT its standard solutions PSIpenta/ERP and MES, which offer dynamic, event-driven production control and are already being used productively by the electric vehicle manufacturer.

On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (energy networks, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,600 persons worldwide.
