Pascal Vural and Norbert Tobolski strengthen PSI management in the areas of information security and IT infrastructure

Berlin, July 24, 2024 - PSI appoints a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the first time and fills the position with Pascal Vural. At the same time, the position of Head of IT will be assigned to Norbert Tobolski. This will significantly strengthen the responsibility for information and cyber security within the PSI Group. At the same time, PSI's IT infrastructure is to be optimized and modernized under new leadership in order to improve the conditions for PSI's cloud transformation and further growth.

Pascal Vural was most recently responsible for information security and data compliance at Babbel, an e-learning platform for web-based language learning. Prior to this, he worked for Deloitte, advising mostly large corporate clients, including in the automotive and chemical industries, on the development and implementation of their cyber security strategy. Pascal Vural started his career as a consultant at secunet AG, which specializes in IT security, alongside and directly following his Master's degree in Business Computing at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences.

Norbert Tobolski has been responsible for IT infrastructure at Quentic GmbH, a provider of standardized software solutions for environmental management and sustainability, since 2019. Since the takeover of Quentic by the AMCS Group, he has been responsible for the Group's global IT operations. Prior to this, the IT specialist and expert in system integration was responsible for the planning and implementation of complex IT projects as IT manager at OpenSynergy GmbH and VANGUARD AG, among others.
