SSAB Europe has commissioned PSI Software SE to implement PSImetals as a core element of its Green Steel transformation, supporting the digitalization and automation of its planned mini-mill in Lulea, Sweden.
The integrated production management solution will form the foundation of SSAB’s future manufac-turing IT landscape, covering planning, scheduling, quality, production and logistics, with fully inte-grated Level-4 and Level-2 communication. At the Lulea site, PSImetals will manage all production areas, including the electric arc furnace, compact strip production, cold rolling mill and surface treatment lines, supporting both hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil output.
