Berlin, September 30, 2026 – PSI Software SE is strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of two experienced leaders from the software industry. Michael Seeberger will join as Chief Revenue Officer effective October 1, 2026 and will be responsible for the international sales organization, marketing & communications, and partner management. Effective January 1, 2027, Dr. Michael Ameling will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer and take on responsibility for the areas of technology & innovation, industrial AI, product management, and information technology services. Thus, PSI is strengthening two key areas of its future development: accelerating global business growth and continuing to implement its technology and innovation strategy.
The appointments bring together complementary expertise in commercial development and technology innovation. Michael Seeberger will focus on further strengthening PSI's global sales organization and accelerating the company's growth, while Dr. Michael Ameling will contribute his extensive experience in enterprise platforms, software architecture, cloud technology and AI to the continued evolution of PSI's technology strategy.
Michael Seeberger brings more than 30 years of experience in industrial software sales, sales leadership and global sales operations to PSI. During his more than 25 years at PTC, he held various senior positions across strategic account management, regional sales leadership and global sales operations. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President Global Sales Operations. Throughout his career, Michael Seeberger has focused on enhancing customer relationships, developing sales organizations, strengthening sales execution and supporting sustainable commercial growth across international markets. His experience will support PSI in further developing its global go-to-market organization and accelerating growth. Michael Seeberger studied Industrial Engineering at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Esslingen).
Dr. Michael Ameling brings around 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and software development at SAP. He joined SAP in 2006 as a Research Associate and subsequently held several technical and leadership positions. Most recently, Dr. Ameling served as President and Chief Product Officer of SAP Business Technology Platform and was a member of SAP’s Extended Board. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic development of the platform and its core technologies and products, including SAP Build and SAP Integration Suite. His areas of expertise include software architecture, cloud platforms, enterprise technology and artificial intelligence. In recent years, Dr. Ameling has been closely involved in advancing AI-powered enterprise applications and AI agent capabilities, as well as the development and scaling of enterprise technology platforms. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a diploma in Media Computer Science from Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden).
