Based on the basic data engineering trainings, this training provides in-depth information about the elements, as well as their data entry, for the process interface and the IT network which are relevant for the network control system.

The training is based on a demonstration data model.

This training can only be arranged for groups of at least 4 people and a maximum of 9 people.

Learning objectives

Based on the basic data engineering trainings, this training provides in-depth information about the elements, as well as their data entry, for the process interface and the IT network which are relevant for the network control system.

  • Parameterization of various process interfaces (interfaces IEC 101, IEC 104, TASE.2) and the assignment of these data to the respective process network
  • Structure of the process interface with the telecontrol channels, the telecontrol gateways, DAKOs, and TIGs as well as their parameterization
  • Parameterization of the various external systems including independent parameterization, deletion, and expansion
  • Virtual value mechanisms, signal processing, and assignment of process data to the object data
  • Export and import functions for the telecontrol addresses/ parameterizations which partially vary project-specifically

After completing the training, the participants will be able to parameterize, modify, and expand the process interface configuration for the IT network as well as for the process networks (electricity, gas, etc.).
