The metals industry faces increasing pressure to enhance energy efficiency to ensure high productivity and profitability as well as sustainability of their production processes. With rising energy costs and growing demand for decarbonization of production, smart planning and energy-optimized operations have become essential. At PSI, we are convinced that digital transformation plays a key role in aligning production with energy availability and sustainability goals.

In our webinar, experts from PSI and qoncept will present how heat and order scheduling with integrated energy forecasting can optimize meltshop and rolling mill operations. You’ll learn how AI based raw material characterization and energy-optimized scrap type selection in production scheduling and execution directly impact energy demand and consumption. The webinar will equip you with insights to reduce energy costs, support sustainability goals, and enhance operational efficiency.
