Berlin, September 18, 2024 – The Financial Times has analyzed the PSI Group in a study conducted together with the data portal Statista and once again included it in the list of leading European companies in climate protection “Europe's Climate Leaders 2024”. The report published in the Financial Times recognizes the commitment of companies to reducing their emissions in the period 2017 to 2022 as well as the transparency of their climate reporting. Several thousand companies were evaluated, among which PSI was honored as one of a total of 36 technology companies.
For the ranking, companies based in one of 33 European countries and with sales of at least 40 million euros were invited to report their emissions and sales data to Statista and the Financial Times. In addition, Statista analyzed publicly available data from almost 2,000 companies, also taking into account the CDP database. In particular, the annual reduction in emissions intensity in the period 2017 to 2022 was evaluated, taking into account only emissions data reported in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol's classification into scopes.
