A Collaboration Space is a “room” or platform where employees can come together, regardless of location, to work on projects, communicate, and exchange files. This concept is not limited to internal cooperation; it can also be applied to collaboration between different companies.
Digitized product documentation
PSIwms product documentation is fully digitized and always up to date. The content is updated quarterly, ensuring that users always have access to the latest version. Documents are available in German and English.
Collaboration tools create direct links between providers and customers, greatly simplifying project management. For instance, a shared digital space eliminates the need for time-consuming email correspondence with outdated attachments.
One example is the collaboration space from PSI. This online platform facilitates secure and straightforward communication with customers and partners. WMS users can exchange information with their PSI contacts, access important information, and learn about products all in one place. Each user has their own account and can proactively participate in the exchange. All relevant product or project related information can be accessed at any time, eliminating the need for time-consuming research.

Customer Spaces – Efficient collaboration
The Customer Area is intended for interpersonal communication. Each new customer project automatically receives its own space for planning, organizing, and implementing the project. Here, customers and PSI can collaborate in real time to create and edit content.
New functions with the cloud version of Confluence
The new cloud version of Confluence offers numerous new features:
- Self-service for users: Users can reset their passwords or create new accounts independently.
- Jira integration: Optimal for project teams that work closely with customers
- Integrated Whiteboards: Ideal for brainstorming and project planning.
- Modern editor: Makes creating and editing content easier
- AI-supported functions: Automatic spell checking, translation, and content summarization.
A visual update was implemented in the first quarter of 2025, giving the collaboration space a Confluence design. Outdated product information and confusing email traffic are a thing of the past. PSI's Collaboration Space offers customers a simpler, more efficient way to interact. Digital product documentation is now fully integrated and interactive. The quarterly content update ensures that users always have the latest information. Customer-specific collaboration spaces are now created automatically. The new Confluence Cloud version offers numerous additional benefits, particularly through AI-supported functions and close integration with Jira. PSI is setting new standards within the company and remains a pioneer in digital collaboration.
The documentation is categorized according to target groups:
- User area: User manual (desktop, web, mobile)
- Key user area: Standard specification
- Administrator area: Administration manual
- Omnichannel documentation
Much of the content is created and edited directly in collaboration space. PSI's Logistics business unit is the first in the company to manage its entire product documentation interactively in collaboration space.
Interactive product documentation: Content is provided not only as text, but also with interactive visualizations, process diagrams, and other media. This makes the documentation easier to understand and improves clarity. There is also a media library with short videos that present PSIwms functions and provide initial insights. This makes the Logistics BU a pioneer within the company.
