New warehouse management system for the Hallbergmoos location
Berlin, November 3, 2026 – BARTH+CO KONTRAKTLOGISTIK GmbH & Co. KG has commissioned PSI Software SE to implement the warehouse management system PSIwms. Initially, the logistics service provider will use the system at its Hallbergmoos location to manage warehouse and logistics processes. Looking ahead, two additional locations are scheduled to be integrated.
To manage the warehouse and logistics processes for apparel, textile raw materials, and particularly time-sensitive spare parts, the PSIwms PRO edition will be implemented. Besides the system’s wide range of configuration options, the fully configurable test tool—which is integrated into the WMS—was a key deciding factor for BARTH. This tool enables intralogistics processes to be simulated under realistic conditions and ensures that adjustments are reliably validated before go-live.
The PSIwms version used by BARTH is based on eight standardized process templates, including those for AutoStore integration. These templates have been enhanced with customer-specific adaptations and allow to integrate more clients shortly without significant additional effort. Another key focus lies on the end-to-end integration of customs processes such as customs declarations, clearance, and bonded warehouses to ensure that workflows are compliant, fast, and transparent at all times.
PSIwms is integrated into BARTH’s IT landscape via standardized interfaces and connects the clients’ host systems with shipping and customs processing. This creates an end-to-end process from order placement to delivery, providing a foundation for future expansions.
