Modern infrastructure and fully integrated systems for new logistics center

Berlin, January 28, 2026 – PSI Polska Sp.z.o.o will implement the Warehouse Management System PSIwms with the Material Flow Control module PSImfc at Rossmann, spol. s r.o. in the new logistics center near Prague. The facility, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026, will be equipped with a modern logistics infrastructure and fully integrated control systems.

As the Czech Republic is one of the most important markets for Rossmann, the new logistic center is built for further development and expansions. It will cover more than 30,000 m² to handle increasing sales volumes as well as to improve services for both brick-and-mortar stores and the rapidly growing e-commerce channel. The center consists of 22,500 stock keeping units (SKUs), 26,000 pallet spaces, and 55,000 shelf spaces in a three-story picking building.

In a separate area for packaging and quality control all processes will be unified into a common conveyor system to fully automate the flow of goods. PSIwms will support 250 workers per shift in warehouse processes. The implementation of the WMS software is part of a larger project to automate the distribution center, executed by SSI Schaefer, a globally leading solutions provider for all areas of intralogistics, as a general contractor.

The PSI solutions will also be integrated in further applications in the warehouse, including “Pick by Voice”, “Put to Light” and the “Pick by Light” signaling system, Transport Management and Enterprise Resource Planning, as well as online sales tools. Video surveillance will further improve complaints handling by enabling faster and more accurate processing.

"We were looking for a solution that not only ensures efficient control of goods flows, but also integrates seamlessly with the diverse range of existing applications. PSIwms and PSImfc meet these expectations and offer us flexibility and process reliability. We also value PSI's experience from projects in other countries. This makes us confident that the system will be put into operation smoothly and on schedule," emphasizes Tomáš Pimpara, Logistics Director at Rossmann, Czech Republic.
