PSIpenta/ERP optimizes production processes with comprehensive functions
Berlin, May 21, 2026 – PSI Software SE has been commissioned by vehicle manufacturer FVG GmbH & Co. KG to implement the PSIpenta/ERP system. PSI prevailed over well-known providers in an intensive selection process and will replace the previous system. A key factor in the decision was that the comprehensive ERP system fully covers the relevant business processes already in the standard version.
Around 20 users will utilize the order management function as well as the service and variant management modules in the future. Additionally, the operational data and employee time tracking modules will be deployed. The integrated Invoice Connector further automates the receipt of e-invoices and integrates them directly into the digital accounting and archiving workflows. An integration with DATEV enables the automated transfer of accounting-relevant data from production to accounting.
“We are looking forward to working with PSI. The modern ERP system optimally meets our requirements as a manufacturer of vehicle bodies, semi-trailers, and trailers and lays the foundation for more efficient production processes through significantly improved planning capabilities. At the same time, we are gaining a future-proof system landscape that supports our continued growth,” explains Tom Desens, Project Manager at FVG GmbH & Co. KG, regarding the decision to award the contract.
It was also particularly important to us to have a consistent mapping of our business processes to ensure high process reliability and a reliable flow of information within the company
