AI and platform-based product suite as well as 360-degree grid management

Berlin, December 17, 2025 – Based on the motto “Transforming the future of energy,” PSI Software SE will present its integrated software portfolio for the cross-sector energy industry at the E‑world energy & water in Essen from February 10 to 12, 2026 (booth B121 in hall 3). The focus will be on further developments in its modernization and platform initiative CSF (Control System of the Future) as well as 360-degree grid management. Additionally, the use of industrial AI in energy supply and cloud technologies will be demonstrated.

The CSF program involves the comprehensive modernization and further development of control system products and the deployment of a common platform for a comprehensive product suite, on which services for monitoring, optimizing, and controlling energy processes are built. One of the features featured at the E-world is a new, enhanced forecasting function for grid calculations such as load flow, congestion, and Redispatch, as well as grid status forecasting.

A further highlight will be the demonstration of 360-degree grid management from the control room to planning and the field level. This offers synergies between grid management, grid planning, and grid services through fully automated data exchange. In addition, the focus will be on long-term and strategic planning, real-time operation at the field level and in the control room, and short- and medium-term optimization.

In addition, a cross-sector control system architecture, from the highest to the lowest voltage level, will be demonstrated with demand-oriented integration of paragraphs 14a EnWG and 9 EEG to support IT, planning, and field processes. Moreover, a cross-voltage-level solution for the controllability check in accordance with paragraph 12 EnWG will be presented.

Beyond that, central functions in the gas control system for the transport, distribution, and storage of renewable and decarbonized gases and, in the future, hydrogen will be shown. Plus, more modules like gas network simulation, gas quality tracking, and energy transport logistics will be covered.

Moreover, improvements in contract management will be presented in the cloud-based software solution for energy trading and distribution.

For the first time, Aucotec AG will be co-exhibiting with “Engineering Base,” a digital twin that offers intersections with PSI's energy solution portfolio. Together, the next step will be to create a distributed “single source of truth.” To this end, domain expertise will be leveraged, barrier-free interfaces for global optimization created, and end-to-end processes implemented.
