Berlin, December 11, 2020 - In cooperation with the magazine Wirtschaftswoche, the management consultancy Munich Strategy and the Amsterdam digital consultancy Bloom have listed PSI Logistics GmbH as one of the leading “Digital Pioneers for SMEs 2020” in Germany. The study results acknowledge the software developer's digital performance and growth potential.

The recently in the Wirtschaftswoche published results rank PSI Logistics 27th among the “50 digital pioneers for medium-sized businesses 2020” in Germany. The ranking shows which companies are particularly advanced in the digital transformation of their business processes. To this end, around 4,000 German medium-sized companies from all industries with an annual turnover between five million and one billion euros were examined. The 50 companies with the highest “digital score” were selected from 400 finalists who have distinguished themselves as digital pioneers. Two thirds of this is made up of the digital performance and one third of the company's growth power.

In addition to the ranking, the analyzes have shown that progress in digital performance goes hand in hand with economic performance. The 50 digital pioneers increased their sales by an average of 31 percent between 2015 and 2019. Many of the companies in the ranking have a completely digital business model. PSI Logistics is currently expanding this segment with the development of a special, app-based product range for PSIwms.

Based on its own software products, PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 2,000 people worldwide.
