Berlin, May 11, 2023 - The Austrian WITTMANN Group has successfully put the ERP system PSIpenta 9.4 from PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH into operation at its Turkish production site in Istanbul after only six months. PSIpenta is connected to the existing systems via interfaces and coupled with the local accounting system.

"Wittmann decided to use PSIpenta at the new production site in Turkey because the system can be adapted to the processes very well and easily. Likewise, with the Industrial Apps, the system-relevant processes are passed on to the employees in a simple and understandable way," summarizes Dominik Grafeneder, ERP Project Manager at WITTMANN Group IT/Corporate Applications.

In addition to the existing sales and service branch in Istanbul, vacuum conveying equipment and dryers are manufactured locally at the newly added location. Mills will be added in the course of the year. Last year, the number of WITTMANN Group production plants was increased by a site in Dilovası, Turkey, which focuses on sheet metal and metal processing in series production.

WITTMANN Group is a leading global manufacturer of injection molding machines, robots and peripheral equipment for processing various types of plasticizable materials. Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, the group operates ten production plants in six countries and additional sales companies at 36 locations.

The PSI Group develops its own software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy grids, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). The industry-specific products, which are built from standard components, are sold both directly and via the cloud-based PSI App Store and can also be customized by customers and partners themselves. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 2,200 people worldwide.
