PSIpenta/ERP and MES control processes for sewer inspection and rehabilitation
Berlin, October 1, 2025 – PSI Software SE has been commissioned by IBAK Helmut Hunger GmbH & Co. KG with the delivery of the PSIpenta/ERP and MES system. This includes multisite control, order management with numerous modules, as well as integrated cost accounting and PSIpenta/Industrial Apps.
As part of its international expansion strategies, IBAK decided after an intensive evaluation process to implement PSIpenta/ERP version 10. In future, 200 users will work with the systems’ modules variant, service, quality, and change management, as well as storage location and operating resource management. In addition, PSIpenta/Industrial Apps will be used for a wide range of mobile business processes. Furthermore, the Multisite multi-plant control system supports all IBAK locations in the central areas.
We were impressed in particular by the comprehensive range of modules and the multi-plant control for our planned international expansion strategy. Also, the potential for self-administration of the entire ERP system was a decisive factor.
The traditional company was founded in 1945 by Helmut Hunger as ”Ingenieur Büro Atlas Kiel." To this day, the company is still family-owned and managed at its headquarters in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein. Today, IBAK develops and manufactures with around 380 employees high-quality sewer inspection and rehabilitation solutions worldwide. In its own production facilities, the company relies on state-of-the-art technologies, innovative manufacturing, as well as automation and digitalizing of the processes.
