Optimized production processes for foil packaging
Berlin, May 12, 2025 – PSI Polska Sp. z o.o. has been commissioned by Folplast Sp. z o.o., one of Poland's leading manufacturers of foil packaging, to implement the system PSIpenta/MES Scheduling. The aim is to comprehensively optimize production processes, increase operational efficiency, and improve order fulfillment punctuality.
Based in Kościan, Poland, employs about 300 people and produces over 38,000 tons of foil packaging for various industries every year. As the previous production planning solution was no longer supported, the company was looking for a future-proof system. This system had to meet growing business requirements and also optimize important production planning processes.

The PSI system provides precise production planning that takes into account available resources and production capacities. This enables process optimizations, shorter setup times, and improved information flow. In addition, integration with the existing ERP system ensures complete operational transparency, better cost control, and greater efficiency.
The implementation will follow a “quick start” model. Based on preconfigured processes the system can be quickly implemented and used. Subsequently, the system will be adapted to Folplast's individual requirements.
