PSIpenta 9.3 controls processes of the variant manufacturer and replaces system

Berlin, 9 March 2021 - PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been commissioned by Dietz Systeme GmbH to implement the ERP system PSIpenta 9.3. The flexible, complete and quickly implementable solution covers all processes of the medium-sized variant manufacturer and replaces the previous system.

In addition to the ERP module, the delivery includes production planning, manufacturing execution system (MES) with production control as well as accounting with financial and corporate management control. Further, the variant management in PSIpenta provides for product configuration an effective method for planning and controlling individual product designs at Dietz.

Dietz chose the PSI solution, which is based on the modern PSI platform, due to its in-depth industry knowledge and extensive functionalities for the needs of variant production. A short time window in October 2020 still allowed for an on-site presentation. Due to the pandemic, the further presentations for the areas of finance and product configuration were made successfully online in web sessions.

Dietz Systeme GmbH, a medium-sized company founded in 1982 and based in Viechtach in the Bavarian Forest, is significant in the development and production of sophisticated tooling systems. The product range includes high-quality punching tools that are compatible with punching machines made by Trumpf, Amada and Euromac.

Based on its own software products, PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics).
