PSIpenta/ERP and MES with comprehensive modular functionality
Berlin, August 5, 2025 – PSI Software SE has been commissioned by Nabertherm GmbH with the implementation of the PSIpenta system. The project includes modules and functions for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as well as Manufacturing Execution System (MES). In an intensive selection process, PSI prevailed against other well-known providers.

The decisive factor for this success was the complete coverage of the relevant business processes along the supply chain with the comprehensive ERP system already included in the standard version as well as PSI's own modules. In future, 200 users in PSIpenta/ERP order management in version 10 will also use the modules for warehouse management, service, change and variant management. Enhanced shipping, quality assurance and the “Capable-To-Promise” module for accurate delivery date determination supplement this.
The PSIpenta/MES modules for production data acquisition (PDA) and personnel time recording are used in production. The delivery is rounded off by the integrated cost accounting system, including a data warehouse. In addition, the PSIpenta Industrial Apps “PDA Terminal” and “Employee Self Service” are used for mobile devices.
"As a market-leading and globally active company in the field of thermal process technology and industrial furnace manufacturer, we cover the entire supply chain of this mechanical engineering application field with our own resources. To do this, we need an IT partner with a corresponding understanding of our distinctive design and manufacturing depth and the entire supply chain, including issues in the further life cycle of our systems," explains Timm Grotheer, Managing Director of Nabertherm.
In addition, he sums up: “We were particularly convinced by the wide range of modules offered by PSIpenta, as well as the excellent understanding of relevant issues already demonstrated during the coordination phase of the project. Many of our processes are already covered by the standard system.”
